Creating a Press Release 

Resources are the "pages" of your website. To create one:

1. Log in to the MODX Manager.

2. In the left-hand Resource Tree, right-click on Press Room in the Center for Oklahoma Studies context.

3. Select Create > Create Resource Here.

4. Fill in the Essentials:

   • Title: Title of the press release (e.g., "Center for Oklahoma Studies annouces upcoming seminars").

   • Template: Select the BaseTemplate from the dropdown. This is crucial!

   • Summary- Enter the short introduction text for the Press Room page list.

   • Content- Enter the text for the press release.

     • Special Note: If the release is a link to an outside article:

       • Create the press release as Weblink.

       • Enter the URL to the press release.
